What Happened And Why?
Only our sector hedgers beat their baselines today. Unfortunate, but with a lot of volatility on Thursday and Friday of last week, this is to be expected. For this reason, we just held the portfolio in the pilot account today. This turned out to be a great move for us. All in all, the algorithm didn’t do great, but it failed in a predictable way. For this reason, we were able to work around it and didn’t suffer for it.
Tomorrow’s Outlook
The full algorithm reports will be published tomorrow morning, once Allen has had a chance to vet its recommendations. In the meantime, here are our tentative exposures for the trading day tomorrow:
