Highlighted Trades - 01/30/2024

Our best trade today was this long position on GM. We went long at $37.74, and the position never got close to being stopped out. We did exit at $38.14 because technical signals were no longer favorable - for a 1.06% return.

Our best short is still open. We went short on BXP at $70.56. We haven’t hit our stop or exit prices, and the technical outlook is still good, so the bot has chosen to keep the position open overnight. BXP is currently $70 even, giving us a return of 0.79% here so far.

Our worst trade today was over quickly, and relatively painless - only giving us a 0.49% loss. I’m actually pretty happy with this trade. The tighter stop losses did us a favor here, since if we’d kept the position until technicals inverted, we would have lost even more.

Overall, we entered 45 positions today: 22 long and 23 short.
