On The Lack Of Algorithm Notifications: 03/18/2024

Hi all, unfortunately, there won’t be any highlighted trades tonight - for the reason that our algorithm only made 2 yesterday.

This isn’t a permanent change, nor was it intentional. I spent the weekend making some changes to our live algorithm engine. These changes were primarily focussed on optimizing its calculation speed, for 2 reasons. The first is to enable faster messaging of its intended positions, and the second is to give it the ability to accommodate a second, experimental algorithm. We have some other day trading algorithms that we see some promise in, but want to live test on a private server.

Unfortunately, due to a bug with the optimizations that wasn’t caught during testing, our algorithm was unable to send any notifications for the majority of the day. These bugs have been fixed, as the system was able to send a few alerts later in the afternoon. However, we are making the decision to call today a wash for the system.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and we hope that you enjoy resuming use of our system tomorrow.
