HaiKhuu Daily Report - 07/23/2026

Good morning and happy Thursday! Man, these market conditions are volatile, and I hope you all are ready for what the markets have in store for us today! Markets are down slightly overnight, but it is nothing of any major concern! Both $TSLA and $GOOG/L are down on earnings, as $TSLA missed earnings and has dropped about 6%, while $GOOGL beat expectations but is down roughly 4% at the time of writing this report.

This has been the warning I’ve been trying to say for a while for organizations like $TSLA, and I hope that you all listened! We were looking at $TSLA $380 puts earlier this week, and anyone who held that position would be printing right now as they are $30 ITM after earnings!

But regardless, this is less than ideal as this will create more bearish pressure leading into today, so please tread lightly and prepare accordingly for these conditions. There are going to be many opportunities to trade momentum on an intraday basis; the issue is having both the confidence and solvency necessary to capitalize on it.

Continue to practice safe risk management in these conditions and tread lightly; this is going to be a volatile day, so let’s make the most of it and enjoy another wonderful day for the markets!

Good luck trading today, and let’s see where the markets take us!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $748.19
Baseline Support: $736.63
Psychological Support: $740
Previous All-Time High: $760.40
Daily Cloud Support: $741.50

Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 07/22/2026

Yesterday was a tough day for the general markets. Conditions were less than ideal, but there were consistent opportunities to scalp and realize some gains. We continued to play within the tight range we were in before, and conditions were obviously less than ideal. Hopefully you all were able to make the most out of the short term volatility that was presented to us and hopefully you were able to realize some gains in a short period of time. Traders should have been able to continue to realize gains through the volatility that was presented to us yesterday, because despite the tight momentum, everything was extremely profitable.

We started yesterday with $SPY looking alright, opening slightly red, trading at $746,86. Conditions at open were strong as the markets went on to quickly rally towards $749, but rejected the relative top. Obviously not ideal, but we came back down and essentially lost 100% of the gains that were generated in the early morning, and all of this happened within the first hour or so of the day.

Thankfully, the markets rallied beautifully from the bottom and went on to push through the lunchtime lull and into the early afternoon. This is where tradeers started to have difficulties. During the rally, $SPY started to top off as it approached the $750 range, where we made the official high of the day at $750.02 and rejected that level cleanly from the top.

The entire afternoon session was built on mild bearish momentum. Conditions were less than ideal; traders realized losses, and anyone who attempted to blindly buy the dip had a tough time. Hopefully no one lost anything of any major significance in the afternoon as $SPY only continued to drop, where we officially went black for the day, leading into power hour, where $SPY officially went red for the day.

We went on and officially ended the day with $SPY trading at $747.41, down roughly $1 for the day, or down 0.12%.

What I will say is that yesterday’s market momentum should not have killed anyone who was attempting to scalp or daytrade, but the intraday momentum was difficult to navigate. Hopefully you all were able to capitalize on the opportunities presented to us during the confusion and were able to realize some gains. That was a very clear rejection of the $SPY $750 range, so hopefully you all were able to make the most of yesterday and are ready for some of the volatility of today!!!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 07/22/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 07/23/2026

Today is going to be a sketchier day for the general markets. We are seeing strength in the overall markets, yet weakness as a result of these ongoing market conditions. Things are less than ideal as we are seeing bearish momentum coming out of some of these higher beta tech organizations, but at the same time, with the way the markets are moving and the way people are feeling, opportunities are going to continue to present themselves on an intraday basis.

I will voice that I do have concerns about these conditions and the range that we continue to play in. We did reject the $750 resistance again on $SPY yesterday, meaning that we are only continuing to remain within this tight range on a larger timeframe. Hopefully there is news that causes us to break out of this range soon, and that we don’t continue to chop around.

People should be nervous heading into today after both $GOOG/L and $TSLA dropped on earnings. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but the selling pressure that will come as a result of this selling is less than ideal, and many traders are going to have general difficulties as a result. Many will attempt to buy the dip, but be caught attempting to catch a falling knife, while others are going to attempt to short after open, only to get burnt. So please, be careful if you are attempting to trade either of these organizations today, and make sure you have a strong thesis that you are both comfortable and confident in!

If you are attempting to scalp other of those organizations, my best recommendation for you all is to sit on your hands and wait for a confirmation before attempting to allocate. These market conditions are great, and as a result of this selling, we are going to get some great short-term dip-buying opportunities. People will oversell their positions, creating a discount within the organization as a result. Wait until that selling occurs, wait until everything is oversold and is showing signs of a reversal back up, and then and only then should you attempt to allocate.

Please be cautious attempting to FOMO into any bearside in the markets today as a result of these conditions. Obviously it is going to be less than ideal to be able to capitalize on these concditions, but it is going to be worse if you attempt to purchase puts on any of these organizations at open, not necessarily because the position CAN’T drop, there is a possibility of that, but it is more so due to the fact that IV is going to be through the roof on the organization that many people are going to have a relatively tougher time to time out the play. If you want to get in an expensive contract with way too much risk, then you can have fun, but assuming that the average person wants to realize gains in these conditions, FOMOing into a bearish allocation here is not going to be the best move.

Just allocate with confidence when the momentum seems fit, ride the reversal, and allocate properly in the process.

The best of traders today will be patient and strike when the iron is hot, and those who strike too early are just simply going to get burnt. So please be smart and safe when allocating in these market conditions. Practice safe risk management and allocate only when everything makes sense. As long as you are making good allocations while practicing safe risk management, there is no reason why you cannot continue to perpetually print in the process. Let’s have some fun and realize some gains today, and make the most of this short-term momentum!!!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
