Good morning and happy Monday everyone! Hope you all are excited and ready for the trading day!
Markets are looking good at the time of writing this report. $SPY is currently trading at $415.25 +1.78 (0.43%), so we are green from close on Friday!
We have lots of earnings and economic news coming out this week so please be careful and tread lightly when trading, there are sharks in the water.
Thoughts & Comments from 8/05/2022
Last week was an absolutely intense week for the markets. With active movement in the markets being relatively minimal, there still were many great opportunities to realize a significant amount of gains. We watched $HKD go insane hitting a high of $2555.30 (now down 70% from the top), $SOFI rallying about 30% and $PYPL finally broke above $100 for the first time in literally four months.
The general markets may not have been the best, but we did all have an amazing opportunity to actively realize a significant amount of gains.
Hopefully, you guys all were able to actively capitalize on the momentum in the markets and realize some gains!

Thoughts & Comments for Today 8/08/2022
Today is looking optimistic for the stock market. With the markets actively trending up, I am extremely optimistic about actively trading today.
We should have a lot of bullish momentum into today, this should be a great and beautiful Monday for the markets.
When trading today, do not be quick with taking your profits off the table, when given an opportunity to realize some gains set a stop in guaranteed profit, and continue to let the play run. If the play hits your stop, then exit with confidence knowing you realized a significant amount of gains. In the case that your play continues to run, move your stop loss up accordingly and realize more and more gains until you get stopped out.
Take on a little bit more risk when trading today as there is this bullish momentum, but just because I recommend taking on more risk, does not mean you should take on bad bets.
Only increase your risk to a point that you are confident with, do not maximize risk by taking on less than perfect opportunities. Be smart with your plays, be safe with your plays, but take on some more heat today to capitalize on this beautiful momentum.
Organizations I recommend you look into playing today are travel (heavily hit), undervalued tech, and high beta stocks. All of those should perform better in the short term than other organizations.

Last week was an alright week for the markets, with the bullish movement of the markets, we were able to actively capitalize on the market movements. We are currently cautious of the current market conditions though as we are expecting a correction to hit the markets sometime soon. Obviously, this is not ideal for the greater market, but we are excited due to our confidence in our market-neutral portfolio and algorithms to be able to navigate the market with confidence regardless of market conditions.

Today we will be utilizing our full portfolio allocating directly into the base algorithm with the intentions of cutting all positions early, stopping out of allocations, and not holding until the end of the day. I believe this momentum will cause us to actively trade higher by the end of the day. I don’t want to take on too many risks though in the pilot so please watch out for the notifications when I decide to exit all allocations for the day.

Swing Opportunities:
I’d recommend continuing to sell OTM CC’s on equities you have in your portfolio. By the end of the week, you will either collect some extra premium, or you get your shares called away at a price you are comfortable and confident in.
I would not look into trying to time out any plays right now in the markets while trying to get a swing opportunity, but still, continue to DCA on equity and if you are looking to average down on long equities that you don’t have the best average with, make sure to start slowly averaging down as we should see relatively better prices coming up over the next couple weeks.
