HaiKhuu Daily Report - 08/11/2026

Good morning and happy Tuesday! Man, these market conditions are confusing. We are seeing overall strength as markets trend toward new all-time highs, but we are also seeing confusion, neutrality, and chop at this level. Obviously, market conditions could be a lot better if we were not in no-man’s land, but it’s life. With the way that things are trending, these market conditions are great, but now it is a matter of being able to capitalize on the short-term momentum and to continue to remain solvent.

If you are attempting to trade today, be careful. With the neutrality we are experiencing, it is going to be tougher to navigate here in the short term. I do not want to sound bearish or make you hesitant to allocate, but with the current placement of the markets, it is almost hard to retain bullish optimism with confidence.

Please tread lightly and practice safe risk management. This is going to be a tougher day for the markets unless there is a directional move, so prepare accordingly for today, and let’s have a great time.

Good luck trading today, and let’s see where $SPY takes us!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $752.98
Baseline Support: $752.98
Psychological Support: $760
Previous All-Time High: $776.85
Daily Cloud Support: $736.22

Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 08/10/2026

Yesterday was a gross time for the general markets as we remained in an extremely tight consolidation. There was bullish and bearish momentum we could have easily capitalized on, but general market conditions, mostly on a larger scale, were extremely narrow and choppy. Hopefully you all were able to capitalize on the general market conditions and realize some gains, but man, yesterday was less than ideal.

We started yesterday with $SPY trading at $772.61; markets were slightly red, but were met with some instant bullish momentum as $SPY rallied beautifully to go on and make the official high of the day, trading at $775.05. We were less than $2 away from making a new all-time high at the top, but watched as markets quickly shifted from the top and quickly dropped on general war news, where leading into the lunchtime lull, markets only continued to drop, going on to make the official low of the day trading at $771.89.

The entire afternoon was just a weak bullish general recovery. Markets were less than ideal and remained extremely slow and choppy, not providing us with any great opportunities.

After almost four hours of neutrality, we watched as $SPY went on and recovered $1 in the final four hours of the trading day, where it was literally just slow chop the entire time, and we ended the day with $SPY trading at $773.03, down $0.23 for the day, or down 0.03% from the previous close on Friday.

So, what I will say about the market conditions yesterday is that things were obviously less than ideal. We remained within an extremely tight range, and conditions were difficult to navigate. There were some great scalping opportunities on an intraday basis, but overall, I would say that was a gross time for the markets. Let’s see what the markets have in store for us today, and try to have some fun in the process!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 08/10/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 08/11/2026

Today is going to be a tough day for the general markets. Hopefully conditions get better, but leading into today, I do not have my expectations up. We are seeing a continuation of neutrality in the larger markets, and I am worried that this neutrality is going to continue. Obviously, I want the markets to break out from this point and watch as there is more confidence in the short term, but with the short-term neutrality and these elevated prices, I am saying this right now: leading into today, I am not a fan of the market setup.

Again, this is not a signal to be bearish or pessimistic about these market conditions, but rather the reality of these conditions, as traders are going to have difficulties navigating short-term momentum. If we continue to remain in an extremely tight range while waiting for a decisive breakout for direction, traders are going to have a tough time, and many losses will be generated as a result.

This is going to be one of those days that I highly advise against attempting to trade 0-DTE option contracts. It is one thing if you are looking to capitalize on a quick scalp and attempt to realize some gains; it is another if you are paying an arm and a leg in premium just to hold and get burned by theta for minimal exposure.

So I am not necessarily saying that this is going to be a bad day for the markets; it just will be tougher to navigate. If you are attempting to trade today, please make sure you are following all the rules you’ve made for yourself and maximizing your potential. If we are in a tight range, gains will be hard to generate, but losses can stack up quickly, so this is why you need to know when to strike. Wait for confirmation of momentum before attempting to enter anything, and just be safe.

Many traders are going to take on “dumb risk” in these market conditions, and as a result, traders are going to realistically get chopped, stopped, and become emotional.

As long as you are allocating with confidence into trending organizations, you are going to be in a great spot. But again, you need to make sure that you are following organizations that are trending and showing signs of a directional move in your favor. Do not fight any trends, do not attempt to scalp neutrality, and do not get caught in chop. That is how traders consistently lose in these conditions, especially if there is continued neutrality.

In the case that there is a larger directional move in the markets, just make sure not to fight any trends. If we are selling, follow the momentum and look for an opportunity to buy the dip. If there is larger purchasing, do not attempt to short the markets, and wait for the reversal at the top.

The biggest thing you all need to do today is just remain rational. If you remain rational, you will be in a great spot and be completely fine.

Just as a heads up - I do have a meeting around Noon~ish CST. I will be MIA for a little bit around that time, but I should be back before the markets close. No promises, but I will try my best for you all. Much love, and let’s see where the markets take us today!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.

Wrap up

This is going to be a confusing day. Hopefully we see continued strength in the markets and do not see a gross consolidation in the meantime. Please make sure to practice safe risk management and manage your downside in times like this. If we see continued choppy neutrality, sit on your hands and prepare to allocate only when there is confirmation of a favorable direction. Don’t get caught in BS. Let’s have a great time and realize some gains!

Good luck trading, and let’s enjoy these conditions together!
