HaiKhuu Daily Report - 08/24/2026

Good morning and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for today! Markets are down slightly at the time of writing this report, but just know that this is going to be an extremely spicy week for the general markets. With the way everything is moving and the sentiment in the water, there is going to be a lot of short-term volatility, and I hope you all are prepared for it.

We’ve seen SIX bloody red days in a row for the markets, which is obviously less than ideal, but given the situation we are in, remember that markets look great and opportunities will consistently be amongst us.

Please continue to tread lightly and practice safe risk management. Lots of traders are going to have short-term difficulties navigating the volatility of these market conditions, but that same volatility will also provide opportunities to scalp and day trade. So enjoy the irrationality, and make the most out of the short-term confidence.

If you haven’t already, check out the WEEKLY PREVIEW to prepare for this week; we have major earnings from organizations like NVIDIA, Best Buy, and Dollar General. This is going to be a spicy week, so prepare accordingly, and let’s have a great time!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $770.70
Baseline Support: $754.24
Psychological Support: $760
Previous All-Time High: $779.64
Daily Cloud Support: $742.09

Thoughts & Comments from Last Week

Last week was a rough week for the general markets. Continued bearish momentum made the majority of the equities market a tougher time to navigate. Obviously, conditions are less than ideal, with five red daily candles in a row, but given the current environment, markets are still strong overall. We dropped from the previous all-time highs and had some minor bearish momentum, but I would say overall, tough week, but conditions are still strong!

We started last week with $SPY trading at $776.16. We popped slightly to start the week, then made the official high of the week at $776.77, and essentially dropped throughout the week. There was minor bearish momentum on Monday where $SPY ended the day trading at $772.67, pretty much at the low of the day, and made a small gap to Tuesday, where $SPY gapped down slightly to start the day at $768.80, and ended it at $767.45.

There was a minor recovery on Wednesday as $SPY popped up to open the day at $770.36, rejected the daily conversion line support, and dropped back down on Thursday.

Thursday was the worst day of the week in my opinion as the markets only continued to drop from the top. We opened Thursday with $SPY trading at $764.96, and watched as $SPY continued to drop, only going lower and lower, making the official low of the day and low of the week trading at $762.04, and ending the day trading at $762.60. Thankfully, markets bounced slightly leading into Friday, which provided us with some opportunities to scalp.

On Friday, we started the day with $SPY recovering nicely during the pre-market session, opening at $766.04, and watched as market conditions were extremely choppy. We dropped $2 from the get-go early on Friday, then recovered everything beautifully, rallying approximately $4 from the bottom, making the official high of the day trading at $767.83, before dropping again slightly into the back half of the trading day. We sold off slowly leading into power hour, but saw a small bump back up before markets started to come down, resulting in $SPY officially ending the week trading at $765.72, meaning that $SPY ended Friday up $3 for the day, but still down roughly $11 from the start of the week.

But hey, life and markets are still great. As I said before, this has now been SIX daily red candles, but regardless of everything, such is simply life. I hope you all are excited about these market conditions and are prepared for what the markets have in store for us today. Market conditions can easily strengthen from here, but just make sure to tread lightly, practice risk management this week, and have an amazing time!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 08/21/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 08/24/2026

Today is setting up to be a relatively interesting start to the week. Given the current market conditions and the way that things are trending, this could be the seventh red day in a row in the markets. Obviously, that is less than ideal and is not what we would “want,” but it is a realistic scenario that we do need to warn you about in the short term. But, with six days of red in a row, what I can say with 100% confidence is that there are going to be some great deep value opportunities that are presented to us in these market conditions, and there will be many organizations that rally this week as a result. So, I am not saying that everything is necessarily going to go up, but I can tell you with almost 100% certainty that sometime in the near future, we are going to watch as multiple of the organizations you’ve watched sell off over the past week rally beautifully.

If you are trying to trade in these market conditions, some of these tech organizations that sold off are going to provide some of the best short-term opportunities to allocate. Chips and semis have been hit heavily from the top, and it will be difficult to allocate there with confidence, but when this sell-off ends and buying momentum returns in the markets, we are going to watch as all of these semis rally irrationally compared to the general markets. The only concern is the short-term volatility that we will need to navigate. Obviously, it is going to be less than ideal in the short term, but with the way that things are trending, we are going to have a great opportunity to scalp, trade, and have the time of our lives.

One organization I am going to be watching more closely in these conditions is $WMT. In the short term, they sold off because of poor forward guidance on earnings. I believe that the organization is still prospectively expensive compared to where it should be, but at the same time, we are seeing a great discount opportunity with $WMT. So, I will be looking for opportunities to scalp in the short term, but am more interested in building a small, long-term position in the organization. This is one of those companies where I genuinely believe that the best move is to simply sit back and invest in the organization. Continue to purchase shares and stack up an allocation. Things may move short-term today and tomorrow, but the long-term investment in the organization is what will cause you to absolutely print.

Other than that, another thing on my radar at the moment is Solana. Sol is currently trading around $95 a coin at the moment, meaning it is up almost 30-50% depending on your average at the bottom. The position itself looks amazing, yet I'm personally skeptical. I am contemplating selling 100% of my Solana for liquidity issues while I am green. I am not selling SOL because I am bearish on the coin nor believe it is going to come down in the short term; this is more so a short-term liquidity issue. I still believe SOL can easily reach $120+, but it's a matter of realizing gains when the opportunity is present.

If you are still holding Solana, I recommend you continue to hold your SOL and keep staking it over time, assuming news and trends continue to positively impact SOL; this position can rally and go parabolic in a very short period.

But regardless, keep your eyes on Crypto. There are a lot of eyes coming back into the Crypto markets, which means there is disposable capital in the system that is looking to be allocated, which is a bullish sign for the general markets.

I am not saying things are going to go perfectly, or that the markets will ultimately result in a significant move up, but given the conditions and catalysts I am seeing across the board, it is hard not to be optimistic and excited. So please, continue to tread lightly, practice safe risk management, and make the most of the volatility that is presented to us here in the short term!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
