Good morning and happy Friday Ladies and Gents. Hope you all are feeling amazing and are hyped for today. Yesterday was a beautiful day for the markets and I hope you all were able to realize a significant amount of gains. $SPY went on an absolute face ripping tear going into close and I hope you guys realized a significant amount of gains.

I joked yesterday and said that the days that I don’t actively trade are the days the markets go absolutely insane… and yesterday continues to add fuel to the theory… Maybe we should test this theory more often.

Thoughts & Comments from 8/25/2022

Yesterday as I said before was an amazing day for the markets! We started off by dipping hard as $SPY sold off right at open. We hit a low of $414.09 before running and ripping to make a new high around 417.8~ before coming back down and testing $415 again. Going into power hour, markets absolutely ripped and things went insane into close. Markets closed after making a new high at $419.51 up +$5.84 (1.41%) with an intraday movement of +1.03%.

Absolutely beautiful day and I hope you all were able to realize a significant amount of gains. I wish I was able to be around the whole day and catch that wave with y’all, but C’est la vie. Glad I was able to catch a bull run on $ULTA earnings AH and close out the majority of my positions with relative ease.

Thoughts & Comments for Today 8/26/2022

Today should be a continuation of this previous beautiful day for the markets. Things are actively moving up from making a low this morning and people are all excited and optimistic for today.

Please be smart and safe while trading today. Watch out for that $420 resistance / confidence level. In the case that we break back above $420 and are able to hold it until the end of the day, we are looking bullish and optimistic again going into tomorrow.

Capitalize on this bullish momentum and realize some gains when you have an opportunity to do so. This is short term momentum which means you will be able to exponentially increase your gains / losses. If you are smart and are confident with your trades, you will have zero issues at all today.

I personally will not be trading that much today, the only thing I will be openly looking for is to sell some 0DTE option contracts to collect some premium going into the weekend, I will try and sell some highly OTM Tesla CSPs that expire today just to make some chump change as I will not be actively utilizing my cash for trading today.

Yesterday was an amazing day for the markets and the algorithms. Everything moved up beautifully with relative ease and the algorithms absolutely loved it. Unfortunately the base algorithm was not able to actively beat the market with the heavy push up at the end of the day, but regardless, a win is win.
