HaiKhuu Daily Report - 08/31/2026

Good morning and happy Monday!!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for today! Man, it felt like this weekend absolutely flew by, but man, isn’t that half of the fun of the weekend! Well, we are back and are ready for what is going to be an absolutely hectic yet fun time for everyone involved.

Market conditions are great, and traders should be excited leading into today! We are seeing mild weakness out of the general markets right now as a result of the Jackson Hole meeting as well as general war tensions, but in general, markets are strong after bouncing back up after an EIGHT-day selling streak.

General market conditions are going to be a little difficult to navigate in the short term due to the volatility that is presented to us, but given the conditions and the way the markets are moving, the inconsistencies will provide us with some great opportunities to scalp and realize some gains!

Make the most out of this week, and let’s have a lot of fun in the process! If you’ve not, please make sure to check out the WEEKLY PREVIEW to see all of the earnings and economic news for this week!

Good luck trading this week, and let’s see some new highs!!!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $768.67
Baseline Support: $754.24
Psychological Support: $760
Previous All-Time High: $779.64
Daily Cloud Support: $740.74

Thoughts & Comments from Last Week

Last week was a rough week for the general markets. There was thankfully at least bullish momentum we could have capitalized on, but in general, we saw a significant amount of short-term neutrality and watched as there were inconsistencies across the board. Traders could have easily capitalized on the inconsistencies of the markets, but at the same time, navigating the volatility was difficult. Regardless, we broke the selling trend in the general markets and had opportunities to realize some gains, so hopefully you all had a wonderful time and killed it!!!

We started last week with $SPY trading at $764.81. General market conditions were less than ideal last Monday as we watched as there was continued neutrality and a slight bearish movement as we ended Monday with $SPY trading at $763.47. Conditions only continued to remain relatively stagnant through Tuesday, as $SPY moved up into the open, opening the day at $766.16, and ended the day down slightly, trading at $765.91. That means through the first two trading days of the week, $SPY, despite moving up slightly, continued to remain relatively neutral and provided us with TWO red days in a row.

Regardless of the general sentiment in the markets, though, the rest of the week started to get better.

Wednesday was the combo breaker after EIGHT red days in a row; we did see some mild bullish momentum on Wednesday as we opened the day at $764.73 and ended Wednesday trading at $766.08! The bullish momentum of Wednesday was less than ideal, but honestly, any bullish movement is better than eight days of selling.

On Thursday, general markets became significantly stronger as we were able to finally break out from the range that we’ve been caught in, and watched as $SPY moved up, broke above the daily conversion line, and then was able to retain that level throughout the day. We continued to move up through the day, where $SPY went on to end the day trading at $771.10.

The general bullish momentum remained until Friday, when conditions quickly weakened once again and provided us with a relatively more difficult time to trade. We had Jackson Hole, and as a result, the markets dropped quickly. We started Friday with $SPY trading at $771.84, displaying general strength, and breaking out in the early morning. We went on and made the official high of the day trading at $775.29 before dropping back down, and when the markets sold off during the lunchtime session, we watched as almost everything across the board dropped stupidly hard, and provided us with some insane opportunities to gamble. General market momentum into the end of the trading day was less than ideal, but honestly, the fun part comes back down to making the most out of the opportunities presented to us. On Friday, we watched as we called out multiple insane runners. Our $WEN option contract rallied approximately 500% from our alert, and we watched as one of our $BABA calls ripped 700% from the bottom leading into close. So no 1,000% runners called, but I will take a +500% and a +700% all day long!

We went on to end the week with $SPY trading at $769.35, meaning $SPY was down $2 on Friday, but up $5 over the entire week. So hopefully you all were able to realize a significant amount of gains during that time. Life is good, and again, I am very thankful that we were able to break out from the selling event presented to us. Hopefully market conditions this week become better, and that traders are able to capitalize on these conditions with ease. So, we see where the markets take us and have a great time!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 08/28/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 08/31/2026

Today is going to be a hectic time for the general markets. There is so much conflicting sentiment leading into today, where many traders are bearish, while a bunch of traders want to watch the markets rally from here. Obviously, anything can happen in the short term, but given the current market conditions and general sentiment, I will say that it is going to be hard not to be optimistic leading into today.

Markets are down slightly during the pre-market session, but the selling that has occurred is nothing of any major significance. Traders should be confident despite the mild weakness, and remember where we are prospectively in the markets. We are about 1% away from a new all-time high; we are seeing strength continue in the semiconductor market, and traders are confident after the selling event that has occurred.

I am not saying that the markets are going to rally and make an all-time high today, but with the sentiment of everyone in the markets, I will say it is almost going to be hard not to be optimistic leading into today. Please, tread lightly and make sure to practice safe risk management in these conditions, but make sure to maximize your potential and exposure.

If there is anything that you guys should try and do this week, please look for opportunities to scalp and trade here in the short term. Semiconductors have been talked about for the longest while, as they are some of the highest beta tech organizations currently in the markets, and traders are in a space where they can trade them with confidence. They are extremely overpriced, but are providing us with great opportunities to scalp.

One tech organization I have my eyes on today is going to be $MRVL. Marvell dropped heavily on Friday on Google AI news, and as a result, they dropped about 10% on Friday. I am not saying that the organization is going to make a full recovery or rally hard, but given the current market conditions and sentiment going into today, I think that realistically, we are going to see a great buy-the-dip opportunity form, but the hardest part is being able to time the position out properly.

As long as you are practicing safe risk management while attempting to enter into positions like $MRVL, I genuinely do not see a reason why you all cannot easily capitalize on these conditions and realize a significant amount of gains. Just wait for the confirmation of a reversal and volume to justify the entry. As long as everything looks great, then simply allocate with a tight stop loss to manage your downside risk, and simply allocate. Equities are going to be exponentially more consistent in these conditions compared to options, so keep that in mind if you are attempting to enter into anything.

I know that I personally will be looking to scalp some higher beta tech organizations today, so if and when I get into anything, I’ll make sure to let you all know, but until then, I want to simply sit, watch, and wait to see how everything plays out. But until then, we get to enjoy a beautiful day and see where the markets take us!!!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
