HaiKhuu Daily Report - 09/16/2026
Good morning and happy Wednesday!!! I hope you all are ready for what the markets have in store for us today, as we are about to see what is going to be the most inconsistent prediction of the interest rates we’ve seen in a long while. We have interest rate decisions coming out later today at 2pm EST, and as a result, we are about to see a significant shift in general momentum and volatility.
These market conditions are strong, yet weak depending on the timeframe that you are looking at. If you zoom out, general markets look absolutely amazing, but if you zoom in and look at the day-to-day movements over the past couple of months, you will see continued neutrality that has made trading extremely difficult and inconsistent.
Please tread lightly going into today, and make sure that you are practicing safe risk management. Some of the best traders in the world are going to have an amazing time trading today, but it all will come down to you and your ability to navigate some short-term volatility.
So go on and enjoy the irrationality that will be provided to us today, and let’s have an amazing time!
The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $764.09
Baseline Support: $767.76
Psychological Support: $760
Previous All-Time High: $779.37
Daily Cloud Support: $752.98
Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 9/15/2026
Yesterday was a relatively gross time for the markets. With the inconsistencies we saw throughout the day, many traders unfortunately got caught in some general bearish momentum. Hopefully your positions were able to hold, and you were able to realize some gains on an intraday basis while scalping, but regardless of your sentiment, it was a rough day for most. So thankfully you all survived and are ready for another day!
We started yesterday with $SPY opening at $760.17. This was the only time we were above 760 throughout the entire day, as we made the official high trading at $760.35 before coming straight down. We watched as $SPY continued to drop early in the morning after the first half hour or so, going on to make the official low of the day, trading at $756.16, which was absolutely disgusting, but at least provided us with an opportunity to buy the dip before the market started to get choppy and remain in a tight range.
As much as I hated the neutrality on an intraday basis, there were many opportunities that you could have easily scalped and realized some gains while attempting to trade. We chopped around the $757-758 range throughout pretty much the entire afternoon, popping and dropping and popping again through a very short period of time, but in reality, we just maintained in that unfortunate range and watched as traders who got caught in the momentum got chopped around, and those who had a tough time trading options watched as theta burned them to the face.
We went on to officially end the day with $SPY trading at $757.39, meaning it was down roughly 0.5% overall yesterday, or down roughly another $3.50 for the day.
What I will say is that yesterday was an absolutely disgusting day. Many traders got absolutely violated while attempting to scalp and trade, but thankfully there were great opportunities that were presented to us in the process. Hopefully you all were able to catch some of the momentum provided to us and were able to realize some gains in the process. But hey, life is good and so are these market conditions, so let’s see what happens today and hopefully we all print!
S&P 500 Heat Map - 09/15/2026
Thoughts & Comments for Today - 09/16/2026
Today is going to be an interesting time for the general markets, given the difficulties that traders are facing. Markets are strong leading into the interest rate decision, but the issue is that there are so many conflicting sentiments at this time. People are pricing in a rate hike to occur, but given the current sentiment of traders, it appears that despite this sentiment being very valid, we do see a lot of traders attempting to speculate that no rate hike will occur.
Currently, there is an 88% mathematical chance that there is a rate hike today, which, as a result, means that realistically, the markets are going to move in our favor.
Again, this is not financial advice nor a signal to buy or sell anything, but if we get a single rate hike, then that will be part of the movement that has already been priced in, and we should see fear decrease as a result, or we will watch as the markets move up on an announcement that there is no change.
I would not recommend attempting to speculate on rates by attempting to trade them on secondary markets, but just know that in the case there is no rate hike, the payout is roughly 8:1. Sooooooo depending on your positioning and sentiment, it could be very interesting.
But in reality, the only thing that matters in these conditions is the fact that we got the rate decision today. Anything that happens before then is simply just market adjustments and noise. Watch out for 2pm EST, and make sure that you are tuning in about an hour prior to the event to make sure you are able to watch and capitalize prior to the event. We may see some great FOMO points to attempt to scalp, but again, gotta be watching to be able to catch the play!
So just be smart and safe today in these market conditions, and understand the volatility that we are going to experience today on an intraday basis.
Many traders are going to unfortunately get caught out and stopped out by the short-term volatility we are seeing, and then whatever happens afterward happens. If that is premium burn from option contracts, or getting chopped and stopped out of a play, regardless of generalized sentiment, conditions become difficult to navigate consistently, and traders then realize losses.
As long as you are practicing safe risk management and understand the irrationality that is going to be presented to us throughout the day, and mostly around 2pm EST, you will be completely fine. The only people I am genuinely worried about in these conditions are those who simply do not know how to navigate this volatility and are running into things guns blazing and hoping for the best. Those are the ones who are going to unfortunately fall the hardest and realize the most losses.
Look at single-name stocks that show strength, look for opportunities to ride momentum, and simply realize gains today. There is no need to be greedy, but this is one of those days that risk is all going to be perspective. Look to take on some additional risk, but don’t be dumb in the process, and you will be completely fine. So let’s enjoy today and make the most of this volatility!
If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.

Wrap up
This is going to be a quick and volatile day for the general markets. Conditions are less than ideal going into today and the interest rate decision is going to dictate how everyone feels. Hopefully rates remain unchanged, but we will see exactly what happens in an extremely short period of time. I hope you all are ready for the shenanigans of the markets today and are ready to realize some gains!
Good luck trading, and let’s see what Warsh does!
