HaiKhuu Daily Report - 09/21/2026

Good morning and happy Monday! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for this week!!! Markets are looking amazing during the pre-market session despite us being fearful of all of the headlines hitting the wire at the moment. We are seeing headlines about war, seeing increased fuel prices, and watching as traders are still in a state of generalized confusion. Traders do not know if they should be overly optimistic or continue to remain relatively fearful. We are just outside of extreme fear on the fear and greed index, and many do not know what to do.

What I can say is that despite the state of generalized confusion that people are experiencing, life is good and the markets are too. We have continued to retain this $760 magnet zone on $SPY, and thankfully have not rejected heavily despite all of the fear going on at the moment.

This is going to be a hectic week for the large majority of traders, so please, continue to tread lightly and practice safe risk management!

If you have not checked out the WEEKLY PREVIEW for this week, please make sure to prepare accordingly. We have a couple of major organizations with earnings this week, including Costco, Darden Restaurants, and General Mills. So please, make sure that you are prepared for this week and ready to have an amazing time.

This is going to be a fun week for the markets, so good luck trading, and let’s realize a significant amount of gains!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $759.65
Baseline Support: $764.49
Psychological Support: $760
Previous All-Time High: $779.37
Daily Cloud Support: $755.12

Thoughts & Comments from Last Week

Last week was a wild time for the general markets with the volatility that we were experiencing. There was strength, neutrality, and weakness all within the same week, where traders were overly optimistic, yet fearful throughout the week. Hopefully you all were able to realize some gains in the process, as the markets and many single-name stocks provided us with some great opportunities, but regardless of everything, I will say it was a great week!

We started last week with $SPY trading right under the $760 support level. We opened officially trading at $759.13, and remained relatively neutral fro the first part of the week before $SPY quickly broke out on Monday and made a relative high trading at $763.52. General market conditions were alright as traders were confident, but then watched as $SPY came down through the day and started the bearish trend for the week.

On Tuesday, we watched as $SPY only continued its downtrend, opening the day right above the $760 support, but snapped down to officially end the day trading at $757.39. But if I am going to be honest, the only move that mattered was what happened on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, we had the interest rate decision and watched as Warsh spoke. Everything was looking alright, as there was an extremely wide range of sentiment, but we watched as we remained neutral around the $760 point, showing relative confidence in the interest rate decision; we watched as it was announced that there is going to be a 25 BPS rate hike (first hike since 2023), and watched as $SPY dove as a result. Obviously, conditions were less than ideal, and we watched as $SPY made the official low of the week, trading at $749.60. I joked that the general market conditions were nasty, but gave us a beautiful buy-the-dip opportunity as I half jokingly talked about the $SPY $750C’s. We watched as those contracts recovered beautifully by close, where we officially ended Wednesday trading at $754.

The rest of the week was relatively gross after the momentum we experienced. We gapped up on Thursday after the selling that occured on Wednesday, where $SPY opened the day trading at $763, meaning we rallied almost $10 after hours, before officially ending Thursday back at that $760 support, before watching as the markets confused us on Friday..

We opened Friday with $SPY trading at $761.32, and watched as conditions remained relatively strong before coming down throughout the entire morning. Conditions were gross as we broke below $760 and continued to drop throughout the day. We went on and made the official low of the day in the back half of the afternoon, watching as $SPY made the official low of the day, trading at $757.98, before recovering beautifully with a strong bullish movement into the end of the week. We talked multiple times about how it was going to be an insane day for the general markets as it was triple witching, and man, did that prediction come true. We watched as a couple of the 0-DTE gambles we talked about rallied 500%+, with the best play being an $ORCL call that went almost $3 ITM by close.

We officially went on to end last week with $SPY trading at $761.69, meaning that $SPY was up about $3 over the course of the week, or up 0.3% overall.

What I will say about the market conditions of last week is that things were obviously a little less than ideal. There was bullish momentum, but it was less than consistent. Traders had difficulty remaining overly bullish, but at the same time, given the way the market was trending, anyone and everyone could have very easily realized a significant amount of gains. Many single-name equities absolutely killed it last week, and I hope that you all had a wonderful time. This is going to be an interesting way to start this week, so I hope you all are prepared and are ready to have a great time!

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 09/21/2026

Today is going to be a great day for the general markets. With the way that everything is trending during the pre-market session. As much as I want to be skeptical and pessimistic as a result of the war headlines hitting the news, I genuinely believe that these market conditions are going to be great and provide us with some insane opportunities to realize some gains. Please, regardless of what you do, make sure that you are practicing safe risk management this week.

There are going to be many amazing single-name stocks that are provided to us this week, mostly in these market conditions, but the biggest issue is going to be remaining constant during these inconsistent times. If you are looking to trade, please make sure that you are simply following market momentum and make sure that you are allocating with confidence. Many traders are going to attempt to trade this week and be met with a tough time, while others are going to attempt to scalp, and because they are allocated properly, will absolutely print. So, if you are attempting to scalp, here are a couple of pieces of advice.

Higher beta tech stocks are going to be some of the best stocks to attempt to trade. These organizations are higher risk, but provide you with exponentially more opportunities to scalp and trade momentum. You can attempt to scalp a company like $KO, but you will be met with generalized neutrality; it is a name that “does not” move. There is less volatility, and traders are going to have a “tougher” time attempting to scalp an organization that does not move accordingly.

These tech organizations are going to consistently be moving up and down a significant amount , so if you are attempting to find something that is trending in either direction, tech is going to be the best move in my opinion.

One thing I will warn you about in these conditions is option contracts. Given the way the markets are moving in these conditions, traders can easily realize a significant amount of gains with options, but I am telling you right now that the large majority of traders are going to realize losses while attempting to trade options. It is not necessarily because you are a bad trader, but because the position you are getting is bad. Under the assumption that your position moves in your favor, yet time passes, and theta burns you, and you are caught in a position that has moved $1-2 in your favor, but your contract is still OTM by close, you are going to lose the large majority of your play.

Again, I am not hating on options specifically; you can easily scalp and trade them and realize gains, but I am just saying that statistically, the large majority of traders are going to get caught in a position that ultimately results in them generating losses, whether they like it or not.

So find a single-name equity that you believe is going to trend harder than the general market, follow that said momentum, and simply allocate with confidence. It’s easier said than done, but it is also extremely easy to accomplish. Do not force any positions, and make sure that you are practicing proper risk management, as I have been seeing traders scale up positions only to generate more losses in the short term. If conditions are less than favorable, trending against your position, or just simply tough to navigate. Sit on your hands and do not force any positions.

People who force positions are going to be the ones that ultimately result in losses being generated consistently, and I do not know about you, but I personally prefer not to realize losses. So let’s have an amazing time, see where the markets take us, and enjoy whatever the markets throw at us. I am confident we all are going to be able to make the most out of today, so let’s realize some gains!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
