HaiKhuu Daily Report - 09/24/2026

Good morning and happy Thursday. Man, these conditions are not looking great, as I have been warning about sketchy market conditions and a warning to sell your equities at the relative top. Welp, markets are coming down at this point, and conditions are not looking ideal. $SPY is down almost $5 at the time of writing this report, and it seems that general market conditions are only continuing to weaken. Please tread lightly, practice safe risk management, and do everything in your power to survive the volatility today.

There may be a wonderful buy-the-dip opportunity that gets built from here, but given the way the markets are trending and the way traders feel, it is almost hard to be overly optimistic on a day like today.

Many traders are going to generate losses on a day like today, so I do not want to scare you or anyone in the process, but with this weakness, it is almost hard being skeptical. Please, protect your bottom line, tread lightly, and practice safe risk management.

Good luck trading today, and let’s see where $SPY takes us.

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $762.37
Baseline Support: $762.45
Psychological Support: $760
Previous All-Time High: $779.37
Daily Cloud Support: $763.83

Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 9/23/2026

Yesterday was an absolutely nasty day for the general markets. Despite the fact that the markets were essentially neutral during the pre-market session, I was warning everyone about generalized weakness, a possible rejection, and giving you all a warning to attempt to sell overpriced, higher-beta tech organizations, realize some gains, and sit on cash. I don’t want to say that it was a perfect recommendation, as anything can adjust in a very short period of time, but given the movement of yesterday, the prediction at least in the short term was almost perfect.

We started yesterday with $SPY opening at $772.88. General market conditions were alright at open as $SPY was down $0.50 in the process, but conditions only continued to weaken throughout the entire morning. $SPY dropped from the get-go, going on and selling off quickly. Within the first hour or so of the trading day, we watched as $SPY dropped heavily, breaking below $770 and continually making new lows of the day. There was a tiny recovery as $SPY went from $768 to testing $770 once again leading into the lunchtime lull, but as volume and momentum tapered away from the markets, we watched as $SPY continued to drop, and right after the lunchtime lull, $SPY made the official low of the day, trading at $766.50 before recovering slightly into the back half of the afternoon.

During the drop, I did alert a couple of option contracts; the one I specifically grabbed was the $SPY $768 0-DTE call, and in my opinion, it was a sketchy play, but we watched as that contract went from $0.45 to $0.70, to $1.30 in a matter of minutes. Those contracts went ITM, and anyone who timed out our entry with us could have and would have easily realized a significant amount of gains in the process, where if you timed your position out perfectly, you would have net 300%.

That is the hard part about trading, if I am going to be honest: having to wait through 60% of the trading day to then be able to snipe the perfect opportunities, but that is one of the multiple reasons I love this community. We were able to perfectly snipe the single opportunity that was presented to us in the back half of the afternoon, and then watched as the markets remained relatively neutral around $768 throughout the rest of the day.

We went on and ended the day with $SPY trading at $767.81, meaning that $SPY was down about $6 overall, or down about 0.72% from the previous close, which is obviously less than ideal, but given the general market conditions and the way everything occurred, it honestly was not the worst possible trading experience. Again, the conditions were less than ideal, but at the same time, it was so easily predictable that the markets were going to be sketchy that we wrote an entire report and published it before the markets opened. Hopefully you all were able to hear the warnings and prepare accordingly for yesterday, so let’s see what the markets have in store for us today, and hope that there is a reversal soon!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 09/23/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 09/24/2026

Today is going to be another sketchy day for the general markets. We are seeing weakness during the pre-market session as a result of generalized fear and the result of the bond market. Obviously, things are not looking ideal going into the open, but I do want to remind you all that we are playing within multiple ranges at this point and are still seeing larger-scale neutrality and consolidation. We are in the process of heading back to that $SPY $760 magnet zone I was talking about previously, and traders can easily print if they are bearish, and get violated if they are overly bullish. Please, continue to practice safe risk management and tread extremely lightly on the short-term volatility we are experiencing right now. Traders can and will lose a significant amount in a short period of time by not practicing basic risk management in these conditions.

Be careful, as I genuinely believe there is a high likelihood that we will watch as $SPY drops down to $760 today and continues to show short-term weakness to attempt to shake out some weak-handed traders.

I’m not saying that the markets are in a bad position, but the sentiment and momentum leading into today are not looking great. We are about 2% away from making a new all-time high, and those who have been holding strong positions over an extended period of time should be completely fine. But there is a big emphasis on should.

So please, continue to tread lightly, and protect your bottom line in these types of market conditions. Options traders are going to have an extremely difficult time attempting to capitalize on this range with confidence, as the price of the underlying in these conditions is too high, and the range we are trading in is extremely tight, where the large majority of traders are going to have difficulties with navigating the momentum and capitalizing on a significant movement.

If there is any tinfoil hat theory that I believe during the pre-market session, I will be looking for an opportunity to play around the $760 support on $SPY. I genuinely believe that the markets will continue to come down in the short term and provide us with a great buy-the-dip opportunity. If I am right or wrong in the short term is what we are about to determine, but if there is any play that I am genuinely interested in, it is attempting to play a bounce scalp on $SPY.

Indexes are a terrible place to attempt to get exposure at this point, but if you are looking for quick day trades and scalps, then the momentum being provided to us at the moment is alright. You just need to make sure that everything is setting up and trending properly.

If you attempt to purchase options while there is neutrality, you will watch as your position gets theta burned to the face.

As always, everything said is not to be taken as financial advice nor a signal to buy or sell any positions in the short term. There is so much risk involved in these market conditions and things are less than ideal. Hopefully there is a recovery that we can capitalize on, but I just want to continue to warn you about the realities of these market conditions and what to expect going into every day.

We appreciate having you all here in this amazing community and appreciate all of the questions you ask and the analysis we have to run for you, as hundreds of others are also able to benefit from hearing your questions. So please, continue to learn from our community, and benefit from the community as much as possible. We love and appreciate you all, and are excited to see what the markets have in store for us today!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.

Wrap up

This is going to be a tough day for the general markets mostly with the way that everything is trending going into open.
