HaiKhuu Daily Report - 09/30/2026
Good morning and happy Wednesday! You are hearing the FINAL report I’ll make in our office, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s been here with us over the previous couple of years. We are officially moving offices today, so this is going to be a hectic day for everyone involved! We appreciate your understanding regarding the situation, and hope you all are ready for what the markets have in store for us today!
Markets are up slightly at the time of writing this report, but not up anything of any major significance at this point. We have major economic news coming out before markets open, which will dictate the general market sentiment leading into the day. So please, tread lightly on the economic news that is about to drop, hope for the best, and prepare accordingly for the worst.
Regardless of everything, though, these markets are great despite remaining in a tight, larger consolidation. Hopefully markets shift soon and conditions strengthen, but given the way that everything is trending, it will be interesting to see what happens in real time. So please, tread lightly, practice safe risk management, and do everything in your power to realize some gains today!
Good luck trading today, and let’s see where the markets take us!
The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $734.37
Baseline Support: $738.49
Psychological Support: $740
Previous All-Time High: $760.40
Daily Cloud Support: $732.22
Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday — 09/29/2026
Yesterday was a rough day for the general markets. Conditions were weak overall despite the fact that we remained in a very tight consolidation. I warned everyone during the pre-market session that this was a genuine risk leading into the day, and, surprisingly, the analysis worked out perfectly and did exactly what we expected. Traders could have easily capitalized on the conditions, but general momentum was rough, so hopefully you all made the most of the report yesterday and realized some gains!
We started yesterday with $SPY opening at $766.95. That was the official high of the day as we dropped right from the get-go and watched as the markets continued to drop. We quickly dropped to test $765 within the first half hour of the day, and remained at that level until $SPY decided to drop into the lunchtime lull. During that time, there was weak bearish momentum, which continued until after the lull, when $SPY went on to make the official low of the day, trading at $762.37.
General market conditions at the bottom were obviously less than ideal, but the selling that occurred from the top really was not that significant, and we watched as the markets only continued to recover into the afternoon. $SPY got back up to test $765 leading into power hour, but that was short-lived as $SPY dropped down and continued to remain relatively neutral until close, where we officially ended the day with $SPY trading at $764.20, meaning we were down approximately $1.50 for the day, or down roughly 0.2% overall.
What I will say about yesterday is that, again, it was a rough day for the markets. The selling that occurred was not significant, but as I warned, anyone who attempted to force any positions yesterday most likely realized a significant amount of losses due to the inconsistencies that were provided to us. But hey, regardless of your sentiment and how you performed yesterday, today is a new day. So let’s have some fun and hopefully have some opportunities presented to us in the process!
S&P 500 Heat Map - 09/29/2026
Thoughts & Comments for Today - 09/30/2026
Today is going to be a hectic time. As I said before, everything is going to come down to economic news during the pre-market session. Obviously, I want the news to come back positive and cause the markets to break out, but I am telling you right now that regardless of the direction we pick, the momentum that is being driven by the news is going to heavily impact the general market sentiment and impact everyone going into the open.
As a result of the news that is coming out this morning, I am expecting one of three scenarios.
Beautiful bullish rally
Terrible bearish selling
Complete neutrality
If news is good, we will see a beautiful rally that we can capitalize on and ride.
If we get bad news, we will watch as the markets sell off. In the case this happens, I see $760 being a real point we can hit today. Obviously, this would not be ideal, but it would be a continuation of this magnet zone and neutrality point. Again, not ideal, but could easily play out in the case that there is bad news during the pre-market session.
The worst-case scenario, in my opinion, is we get neutrality and no movement at all. This could happen in the case that data comes back weaker than expected, or we watch as the markets decide to chop out anyone and everyone who attempted to hold any option contracts overnight and attempt to IV crush them to the face.
So again, just know that there is a lot of uncertainty leading into today, mostly with the fact that we have major economic news coming out before markets even open today.
If you are attempting to trade today, this is going to be a loaded response because there is so much uncertainty, but if you are looking to capitalize on the bull side, look for some higher-beta tech organizations that are undervalued in these market conditions. We’ve talked about $ORCL before, but this is a perfect example of something like that happening once again, because under the assumption that the markets move up and $ORCL follows suit, the organization is going to run exponentially harder than everything else.
If you are looking to capitalize on the bear side, I will say that the indexes are not the best allocation for that at the moment. You can easily capitalize on the bear side by attempting to scalp $SPY and $SPX, but those are going to be extremely expensive positions that ultimately result in you taking on a significant amount of risk. If there is anything you should attempt to short today, again, it is going to be those heavily overpriced higher-beta tech organizations. If we watch as the markets drop accordingly throughout the day, it is obviously not “ideal,” but at the same time, with the way that the markets are moving and the way that traders feel excited, the reality of the situation is that when we come down, these higher-beta tech organizations are going to drop heavier, traders are going to oversell these organizations, and we will watch as many get burnt.
So one of the biggest things you need to look out for if you are attempting to allocate or trade at this level is making sure that you practice safe risk management. Many traders will get absolutely destroyed in the process of scalping improperly, but at the same time, with the way the markets are trending, it is almost hard not to get excited.
Just continue to trade these market conditions accordingly, and do everything in your power to have an amazing time. I know I am excited for today, so hopefully I can find some great opportunities for you to scalp around us moving offices. Much love, and thank you all for understanding. Let’s have some fun and realize a significant amount of gains!
If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
