Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 10/08/2026

Yesterday was an interesting day for the general markets. Traders had difficulties navigating the inconsistencies as we watched as there was positive war news, terrible AI news, and insane volatility afterward. Hopefully you all were able to capitalize on the short-term volatility, but man, what an interesting way to spend a day!

We started yesterday with $SPY opening at $774.87. General market conditions were alright, as $SPY was down during the pre-market session. Obviously, things were less than ideal, but at least it provided us with some insane opportunities to allocate, scalp, and trade. Markets picked up within the first hour or so of the trading day, where $SPY then decided to make a relative high trading around $776 before coming back down and showing general markets slowing down leading into the lunchtime lull.

Nothing really crazy happened outside general market volatility, then we saw Trump give war news, how we do not anticipate any more strikes in the Middle East until after the midterms, resulting in the markets quickly breaking out and watching as $SPY made the official high of the day trading at $777.08, before quickly coming down on news that OpenAI’s revenue is lower than expected.

As a result of OpenAI’s revenue announcement, the markets dropped hard into the afternoon, and we watched as $SPY quickly made the official low of the day, trading at $770.44. This means that within an hour or so, we dropped from the official high of the day to making the official low.

Markets did recover slowly into the afternoon, providing us with an opportunity to scalp and go long, and we went on to officially end the day with $SPY trading at $773.93, meaning $SPY was down 0.4% overall, or down roughly $3.

What I will say is that obviously, the conditions were extremely inconsistent yet provided us with opportunities to trade. Hopefully you all were able to capitalize on the conditions of yesterday and were able to realize a significant amount of gains in the process. But hey, regardless of everything, life is good and so are these market conditions, so let’s make the most out of today and see where $SPY takes us!

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 10/09/2026

Today is going to be an insane day for the markets. With the volatility we have experienced over the previous week, it is hard not to assume that today is going to be another volatile day for the markets that will provide us with some great opportunities to scalp and trade in the short term. If you are attempting to trade today, please look to take on proper allocations on a day like today, because I think those who attempt to take on risks, under the assumption they allocate properly, are going to be presented with some great opportunities to realize a significant amount of gains.

I am not saying that you should attempt to take on dumb risk, highly speculative plays, or do anything that could ultimately blow up your account from stupidity, but it is one of those moves where you should look to scale up your position sizing and take on more short-term risk when you have confidence.

There are many organizations that fell heavily yesterday that will ultimately provide us with an opportunity to play a beautiful recovery today.

Just look at all of the tech organizations that were oversold yesterday. I am not saying that all of them are going to recover, nor am I insinuating that they will, but I can tell you that statistically speaking, there is a high probability that at least one of the major tech organizations that were sold off yesterday will provide us with a great opportunity to scalp and trade in the short term.

Just look for the organizations that have momentum that you are personally comfortable holding, and then allocate. It is literally that simple. As long as you are protecting your bottom line and practicing safe risk management, these conditions will provide us with some beautiful opportunities across the board.

So, now this gets to the fun part of the report.

Before I say anything, please remember that I am not a financial advisor, nor should this be considered financial advice. Please protect your bottom line and understand that, in the case you are wrong, allocate improperly, or anything else, just know you will statistically lose 100% of your position.

But now let’s talk about option contracts. We have a lot of new people here in the Discord, so I just want to introduce you all to our insane option trading strategy. I developed this approximately six months ago and have been actively testing this strategy in real time. I have found that this is the most consistent way to get irrational returns in the shortest period of time, but with that said, I will say that this is also the highest risk-to-reward that is available in the markets. If you are right, you can easily be up 1,000%+, but if you are 1% wrong, you will generate 100% losses.

The play I am talking about is looking at 0-DTE option contracts.

Before you guys all start blindly purchasing BS at open, let me clarify something. I believe that 0-DTE option contracts are one of the worst positions in the entire market. The large majority of 0-DTE option contracts will expire worthless at the end of the day, and the large majority of traders who purchased 0-DTE contracts around open are going to statistically lose. Unless your 0-DTE purchased at open goes heavily in the money by close, we are talking about a dead position.

So why am I saying we should look into something extremely risky and one of the worst plays in the market?

The biggest difference is that the majority of people look to purchase 0-DTE option contracts that are OTM around open, pay way too much for those contracts, and as a result, realize losses.

For my strategy, I am looking to purchase 0-DTE option contracts that are ATM within the final hours of the day for pennies on the dollar compared to someone purchasing OTM contracts at open. I have time ticking against my position, but instead of paying $3 for an option contract early in the morning that is OTM and praying things work out, I can simply wait until the end of the day and purchase ATM options for literal pennies.

You all have seen within the final hour of the day when things start to move irrationally, and this is essentially a gamble on that.

Wait until you find an organization that has option contracts, is trading right below a strike, and has a chance for a directional breakout. Then, allocate with confidence. This is one of the easiest ways to get some absolutely insane exposure for pennies on the dollar.

So, look for higher beta tech organizations that show potential for that move, and let us all know what you see. That is the best way to use the community, if I am going to be honest. Please, keep an eye out for us to help us find stuff with potential, and understand that realistically, with the way that everything is trending, there is going to be so much potential in the final hours of the day. Make sure to tune back into the call about two hours left in the trading day and prepare accordingly for these plays with us!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
