HaiKhuu Daily Report - 10/12/2026
Good morning and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are prepared for some insane volatility. With the way the markets are moving and the way that everything is trending, traders should be overly excited leading into today and be prepared to capitalize on some strong market conditions.
Markets are up slightly at the time of writing this report, and with the way that everything is trending, this should be another amazing week for everyone.
Please, just continue to practice safe risk management in these conditions, as there is so much irrationality happening at the moment. We can get news regarding the war that shoots us in either direction, or we can watch as general markets dump again on more bad OpenAI news. Anything can happen at this level, and hopefully everyone is going to be able to realize some insane gains today.
This will be a crazy week for the markets with the way that everything is setting up. This is the first week of earnings season, so prepare accordingly, as we are going to see a continuation of irrationality in the short term! Make sure to check out the WEEKLY PREVIEW to prepare accordingly for this week! “
Good luck trading today, and let’s see how the markets treat us!

Thoughts & Comments from Last Week
Last week was an insane week for the markets. There was beautiful bullish momentum as we watched $SPY and many other organizations rally and make new all-time highs. There were great opportunities to trade, allocate, and realize some gains in the process, and I genuinely hope that you all were able to realize a significant amount of gains as a result. But regardless of sentiment, life is good, and these market conditions are even better!
We started last week with $SPY trading at $770.04. General market conditions were alright on Monday, and we watched as $SPY quickly rallied to go on and test the $775 range. General conditions on Monday were great as it started the week off with some general bullish sentiment, but watched as the highlight of the week became the fact that $SPY rallied once again on Tuesday, going on to make the official highn of the day, high of the week, and all-time high with $SPY trading at $781.62.
Market conditions at the top were perfect despite the fact that the markets came down after making that high, but the fact that $SPY made a new all-time high is really all that matters.
Wednesday was a gross time. We ended Tuesday with $SPY trading at $779.09, opened Wednesday at $775, and made the official low of the day at $773. We thankfully recovered to $777 by the close on Wednesday, only to watch as the markets continued to drop on Thursday.
Thursday was by far the worst day of the week. There were opportunities to scalp and trade both directions, but it was rough. We started the day with $SPY trading at $774, meaning we dropped slightly during the pre-market session, and watched as we made the official low of the day, testing $770 and the daily conversion line support, before ending the day with $SPY trading at $774. It was an unfortunate time, but C’est la vie.
Friday was a good time for the general markets. There was strength and confidence across the board as $SPY opened the day trading at $776, and we watched as we rallied and saw strong continued momentum throughout the entire day, which resulted in many traders realizing a significant amount of gains and having a lot of fun on Friday.
We ended the week with $SPY trading at $778.57, meaning that $SPY ended Friday trading up $5, while also being up almost $9 for the entire week. $SPY was up 1.1% overall, and everyone across the board could have very easily realized a significant amount of gains in an extremely short period of time. Hopefully you all were able to capitalize on the volatility that was provided to us, and hopefully you all were able to realize some gains. Life is good, and so are these market conditions, so hopefully you all had a wonderful time last week and are ready for today!!!
S&P 500 Heat Map - 10/09/2026
Thoughts & Comments for Today - 10/12/2026
Today is going to be a confusing one for the general markets. Everyone is sitting back, and half of the markets forget that equities are open today. Bond markets are closed, and this is obviously going to be less ideal for active trading and volume, but with that said, under the assumption that today works like other low-volume days, unless there is justification or reasoning for the markets to drop, just know that historically, markets move up as a result of conditions like this. If that remains true or not is a completely different story, but just go into today knowing that realistically, we are going to see less volatility and volume compared to a normal day.
This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is just something to think about and consider in the short term. Please continue to practice safe risk management and protect your bottom line. General market conditions continue to be strong and we have a genuine possibility of making another new all-time high this week. We are about $2 away from making that high at this point, and honestly, there is a chance that it even hits today.
So my suggestion and recommendation to all of you who are attempting to scalp and day trade today: please continue to capitalize on these conditions in the short term. There is no reason why you should not attempt to capitalize on today, as I am expecting a slow directional momentum-based move. I don’t necessarily know which direction, but I do believe there is going to be a bullish bias. I obviously may be wrong with the sentiment, but with the way everything appears to me going into open, it is almost hard not to be excited and optimistic about today.
One sector that I think is 100% worth a watch today are semi’s/chips. With the way they trended last week, this was really the only true red in the markets. We watched as organizations like $INTC were down 12% last week, while organizations like $SNDK and $LRCX were down 8%.
I am not saying that these market conditions are necessarily perfect, but with the way that everything has trended and the strength of these organizations, I believe that realistically, there is a chance that one, if not multiple, of these laggards recovers beautifully this week, so keep your eyes out for those.
One other organization I would highly recommend you look into at these prices is $PTLO. I have talked about this for a while, and I was lucky enough to add to my position early last week, but with the way the markets are trending and the way that it is moving, just make sure to keep your eyes out for the organization. I feel that the company is extremely undervalued, and realistically will only continue to act irrationally. It rallied 15% last week, and hopefully the momentum lasts. The organization, in my opinion, is heavily undervalued, mostly compared to its peers, but at the same time, it is still undervalued in the markets.
This is obviously not financial advice, and your entry would have been better this time last week before a 15% rally, but expect to see stronger momentum coming out of this organization as it is finally getting some buying momentum.
If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
