HaiKhuu Daily Report - 10/16/2026

Good morning and happy Friday! Man, this week has flown by and has been filled with so much beautiful momentum. Hopefully you all have been able to realize a significant amount of gains this week and are ready for what the markets have in store for us today!

Markets are essentially neutral at the time of writing this report, but honestly, with the momentum we are seeing, there is a high possibility of continued bullish momentum in the markets. We just need news or justification for a larger movement in the markets.

Prepare for irrationality, and understand that at any moment we can get random war news, or update which results in the markets moving in an unexpected way. This is a Friday, so if anything crazy is going to happen, it will be today. I’ll talk more about my option strategy later on in the report, so hopefully we all can realize a significant amount of gains together!

Good luck trading, and let’s have an amazing time!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $773.02
Baseline Support: $765.61
Psychological Support: $770
Previous All-Time High: $781.62
Daily Cloud Support: $768.41

Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 10/15/2026

Yesterday was honestly a great day for the market; anyone who simply followed market momentum and rode the bullish trend from the open could have easily realized a significant amount of gains. I saw multiple members of the Discord net $10,000+ yesterday, so congrats to everyone on the beautiful day. Hopefully you all were able to follow market trends and realize some gains!

We started the day with $SPY opening down about $3. We opened the day with $SPY trading at $766.29, and conditions were tough at the time. We quickly dropped within the first half hour of the day to make the official low of the day at $764.43, and rallied as quickly as we dropped. Everything was quickly recovered, and we continued to rally into the lunchtime session.

Leading into the lunchtime lull, $SPY was trading around $770 and remained stuck around that point for approximately 4 hours. There was slight chop that you could have traded, but there was nothing of any major significance.

The fun really started around power hour, where $SPY went on and made the official high of the day, trading at $772.86. Markets were great at the top; $SPY was green for the day, but we did come down slightly into close, where we ended the day with $SPY trading at $771.79. That means overall, $SPY rallied about $2, or up 0.3% overall.

It was definitely a difficult day for the average trader with the volatility that we have experienced, but for anyone who was able to ride the momentum, you all should have been able to realize a significant amount of gains and have an easy day. I hope you had some fun and watched $FUN yesterday; that was an entertaining play, and hopefully things only continue to get better from here!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 10/15/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 10/16/2026

Today should be a fun time for the general markets. Heading into today, I am fully expecting to see consistent scalping and trading opportunities. With the volatility that we have experienced over the previous couple of trading days, I am expecting to see a continuation of that irrationality, and I am fully expecting to see great plays present themselves.

I am concerned that we may see larger-scale selling as a result of these ongoing market conditions, but at the same time, with the difficulties we are facing, opportunities will continue to present themselves. Anytime there is selling, we will see points where conditions are oversold, we will see points of reversal, and we will get entry opportunities.

The difficulties really start if you don’t know how to enter into positions properly with confidence. So please, tread lightly, practice safe risk management, and take on proper exposure. Chips and semi’s are going to be a great sector to watch out for today. Many of them dropped heavily yesterday, so under the assumption that conditions continue to remain as they are, things are going to be beautiful.

Now let’s talk about options. I feel like Friday 0-DTE options are my favorite time to trade throughout the entire week. For those who do not know, I have been testing out a Friday 0-DTE option strategy and have been trading them alongside many people here in the community/ We’ve been testing this strategy out for about six months at this point, and I believe that it is the best risk-to-reward in the entire market.

Before I say anything else, I just want to remind you all that I am not a financial advisor; none of this is financial advice, nor is it a signal to buy or sell anything. If you attempt to execute this strategy but do it improperly, you WILL lose 100% of your capital. This is not a warning; this is a threat. You WILL lose if you do not execute this strategy perfectly, and you cannot hold me liable.

So, Friday option strat.

For those who’ve been around me long enough, you know that I am not a fan of 0-DTE option contracts. For the most part, these positions are extremely irrational, overpriced, and statistically are going to lose you money in the long run, mostly if you do not know what you are doing. BUT if played correctly, you will be presented again with the best risk-to-reward ratio in the entire market. If you want to gamble, there is no reason to gamble outside of these parameters in my opinion.

I am looking for a higher beta organization that has experienced selling pressure. I want something that has remained in a tight consolidation and shows the potential for a large directional breakout into close, and I want the price it is trading at to be right below a strike price. If you find a play like this in the final 2~ hours of the day, please let us all know right away.

In the perfect-case scenario, you are going to be able to purchase some 0-DTE contracts that, from open until powerhour, drop 90%, and then you are able to purchase an ATM option contract for pennies on the dollar with certainty. There is no reason to have to predict what happens at open and pray throughout the day; you get to play with almost 100% certainty for literal pennies. The other day I purchased some $0.15 contracts that got me $15,000 of bullish exposure. That means for $15, you get to ride what is essentially $15,000 of bullish equity, or for $100, you can ride almost $100,000 of long equity for a couple of hours. If your play ends up going $2-3-5 ITM, you can literally end up with a 1,000%+ runner, so keep your eyes out at the end of today for some fun plays that could be irrational runners. I’ll try to find some for you all as always, but a couple on my radar today are: $ORCL, $BABA, $RIVN, and $INTC.

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
