Good morning and happy Thursday! I hope you all are doing well and loving the market after the beautiful push we had in the markets yesterday! Markets are showing a significant amount of confidence, but there is economic news prior to open. With CPI and Jobless claims, expect a significant movement in the markets. This will be an interesting movement that is hopefully in our favor. Good luck this morning with economic news! Play the momentum and capitalize on the opportunities that are presenting themselves.
Thoughts & Comments from 1/11/2023
Yesterday was a beautiful day for the markets with a significant amount of bullish momentum throughout the day. Before open, $SPY was looking strong and the markets continued to move up into open. We opened the day with $SPY trading at $392.15, and slowly moving up and chopping around. We made our first high of the day testing $393 multiple times before testing lower VWAP for the only time in the day, with $SPY making an intraday low of $391.38, before moving up significantly for the rest of the day. Throughout the rest of the day, we watched as $SPY continue to move up and make consistent new highs throughout the day and show a significant amount of strength. We pumped into close with $SPY making a final high of day with $SPY making an official high at $395.60. We closed the day with $SPY trading at $395.50, moving up $4.92 (1.26%) with an intraday movement of +0.84%.
It was a great day for the markets with a significant amount of bullish momentum in the markets. Hopefully you all were able to capitalize on the momentum and realize some significant gains yesterday!

Thoughts & Comments for Today 1/12/2023
Today will be an interesting day as a result of the significant economic news happening prior to markets opening. This will be an interesting event and you can expect the markets to move heavily right at 8:30 am EST.
Please be on the look out for the general momentum in the markets and make sure to actively capitalize on the momentum throughout the day and realize gains when given a chance to do so. This is not the day to be greedy, but this will be a day full of opportunity and momentum in the markets.
If you are day trading or scalping, be quick with your general allocations and do not fight the momentum of the markets. I personally expect to see a heavy movement up prior to CPI, with us dipping heavily and slow grinding up for the rest of the day assuming there is confidence in the general markets.
In the chance there is a shift in the general markets, please watch out for a possible reversal where these gains can be loss extremely quickly.
Look to play safe allocations today but please, capitalize on the momentum of the general markets and limit the amount of general risks that you take.
This should be a difficult day to actively trade, but as I said before, will present us with many opportunities to trade.
