Welcome to the Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) Calculator! This tool is designed to help you calculate the average buy price of an investment using the dollar cost averaging method. Whether you're investing in stocks, cryptocurrency, or any other financial asset, you can use this calculator to determine your average buy price based on multiple transactions.

To get started, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Enter Your Initial Transaction

  • In the "Initial Transaction" section, input the number of shares you purchased in your first transaction in the "Shares" field.

  • Next, enter the average buy price per share for your initial transaction in the "Avg Buy Price" field.

Step 2: Add Additional Purchases (Optional)

  • If you made more than one purchase, you can add additional transactions by clicking the "Add Purchase" button in the "Additional Purchases" section.

  • For each additional purchase, input the number of shares purchased and the average buy price per share.

  • You can add as many additional purchases as needed.

Step 3: Remove Transactions (Optional)

  • If you need to remove an additional purchase entry, click the "Remove" link next to the transaction you want to remove.

Step 4: Review Your Results

  • The calculator will automatically update the results as you enter your transactions.

  • Review the "Purchase Transactions" list to see a summary of your entered transactions.

  • The "Average Buy Price (DCA)" field will display your calculated average buy price based on all entered transactions.
