HaiKhuu Daily Report - 07/29/2026

Good morning and happy Wednesday! WOOO, already halfway through this week, and the month is almost over???? These market conditions have been tough to navigate through this general neutrality, but opportunities have only continued to present themselves to us with some insane opportunities to scalp, trade, and realize some gains.

This is just a reminder: we have both FOMC and Fed Chair Warsh speaking today. Please expect inconsistencies, difficulties, and irrationality as a result.

Hopefully you all have been able to maximize your profits and opportunities because with the way the markets are trending, it is almost hard not to see trades being presented to you left and right.

We are seeing continued weakness out of South Korea as they’ve just experienced another 5% drop in their markets, leading to weak global bearish pressure, yet the US markets are remaining solvent. So go on and take advantage of the market conditions being presented to us today, and enjoy the opportunities being presented to us. Traders can easily capitalize on this volatility, but it is a matter of being confident in both your abilities and your ability to remain solvent.

As long as you are making positions you are comfortable with that make sense, I do not see a reason why you cannot absolutely print today.

Let’s see where the markets decide to take us today, and see how we react again to $SPY $740

Good luck trading today, and let’s finally break out again!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $744.89
Baseline Support: $736.08
Psychological Support: $740
Previous All-Time High: $760.40
Daily Cloud Support: $740.57

Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 07/28/2026

Yesterday was an interesting time for the markets. Conditions were inconsistent, but provided us with opportunities to trade both the bull side and the bear side. You could have caught either direction if you simply followed the momentum, but overall, I would say it was an alright day as $SPY continued to trade within a larger range. Hopefully you all were able to generate a significant amount of realized gains in the process, but man oh man what a time to try and trade!

We started yesterday with $SPY opening slightly red, trading at $739.09. Market conditions were alright at open, but we were met with instant bearish momentum as $SPY dropped and made the official low of the day, trading at $736.00. After the first half hour of selling, the markets did rebound beautifully leading into the lunchtime lull, where $SPY broke back above $740 and continued to rally.

Markets were neutral through lunch and made the official high of the day in the early afternoon, trading at $742.79, looking great but remaining relatively weak at that level as things came back down in the back half of the afternoon. General market conditions were less than ideal; things were slow, choppy, and relatively gross as we chopped within a couple of dollar ranges until close, where we officially ended the day with $SPY trading at $740.86, up 0.25% for the day, or up just shy of $2 overall.

What I will say about yesterday's market conditions is that, obviously, they were less than ideal despite the minor bullish movement we saw. There were great opportunities to scalp both directions, but it was just a matter of what you were able to do and how confident you were with your allocations. As long as you followed the momentum and were both comfortable and confident with your ability to trade, it was a great day full of opportunities. So I hope you all are ready for what the markets have in store for us today, because this is going to be a volatile time!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 07/28/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 07/29/2026

Let’s now talk about today. Man, with the way the markets have been trending in these conditions, it is hard not to be optimistic yet skeptical. $SPY has only continued to remain in this $740-$750 range; we are getting war news, we are watching as the overpriced chips are killing the South Korean markets, and we have FOMC today. So, I am not saying these conditions are perfect, but there is going to be so much volatility and opportunity that you all should be excited and proud to have survived this long.

Go into today with the hopes and expectations that markets are going to remain inconsistent, and neutral on a larger scale, yet provide us with opportrunities on an intraday basis to scalp and daytrade momentum. With the strength traders are experiencing and the confidence that comes with it, I will say it is almost hard not to be overly optimistic at this point.

If you are looking to trade today, this will be a lot of fun as I genuinely believe that this can be a cyclical repeat of almost every other FOMC trading day. We may get something thrown into the system to make trading slightly more inconsistent, but historically, FOMC days are typically very cyclical.

So, let’s talk about my FOMC gameplan and what “typically” happens.

Early in the morning once everyone finds out that the FOMC release is going to be today, there will typically be a smaller directional move as the markets typically move up for the first half hour / hour of the day, before we top off and make a relative high early in the morning.

This then results in traders FOMO’ing into the markets, sending us slightly higher, before we watch as the markets quickly sell off into the lunchtime lull, only to be bought back up once again leading into the FOMC event.

At the rate announcement, there will be a large directional move. The direction we head is up for debate, it will all come back to what the decision is and if it is what the markets are looking for. There will be volatility, uncertainty and a significant amount of risk as a result. So hopefully, general market conditions do not weaken on this news.

Then, we have the Fed Chair speaking, which should continue to bring more short-term uncertainty. Everything comes down to how people feel about what is being said, and the reactions to that into the end of the day.

So, I am not saying that these market conditions are necessarily going to be easy to navigate, but I believe that, given the risks associated with these conditions and the opportunities being presented to us, it is going to be hard not to be optimistic and excited heading into today.

My recommendations leading into today, is look to capitalize on the bullish momentum early in the morning, look to attempt to short the reversal into the lull, and look to reverse after the lull into the FOMO of FOMC.

Do not hold any speculative plays into the decision, and prepare for inconsistencies.

If everything works out, you’ll be able to nail 3 perfect plays with confidence; if not…. oh boy.

Just make sure that you are practicing safe risk management and preparing accordingly for these inconsistencies in the markets.

Tread lightly, be careful, and have some fun leading into today. Also, just as a heads up, we have $PTLO earnings next Wednesday, you are going to hear me talk more about the organization over the next week or so, so just as a heads up regarding everything. Much love y’all, let’s go on and kill it today!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
