HaiKhuu Daily Report - 09/08/2026

Good morning and happy Tuesday!!! Man, the long weekend has come and gone, and these market conditions are looking SPICY to start the week. We are seeing minor weakness across the broader market right now as fear rises in the current sentiment. But regardless, these market conditions are still great despite the short-term volatility we are experiencing, and I hope you're all excited and ready for what the markets have in store for us.

This is going to be a shorter week for the markets that will lack general consistency, but I feel as if that is where the majority of the fun really is, because with the inconsistencies provided to us, we will get some great opportunities to both scalp and actively day trade.

Please tread lightly this week and understand the difficulties the average trader is going to face in these conditions. But hey, regardless of everything, life is good and so are these conditions, so make the most of this short week for the markets and hope for the best!

There is a bunch of news and economic data you should look out for, so please make sure to check out the WEEKLY PREVIEW to prepare accordingly for some inconsistencies, and have an amazing time in the process!

Good luck trading this week, and let’s see where $SPY takes us!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $767.39
Baseline Support: $758.52
Psychological Support: $760
Previous All-Time High: $779.37
Daily Cloud Support: $738.49

Thoughts & Comments from Last Week

Last week was a rough week for the general markets. There was a large bullish movement that we could have easily capitalized on, but given the market conditions and the general market neutrality, as much as I love the opportunities that were presented to us, the neutrality made trading in general extremely inconsistent and led to traders having a tough time. I am not saying that it was impossible to realize gains last week, but it wasn’t easy navigating the neutrality! Regardless, hope you all had a wonderful time and were able to realize some gains!

We started last week with $SPY trading at $767.18. General market conditions were alright, and we watched as there was slow, choppy momentum through Monday, where we were able to move up slightly into the close, officially ending Monday with $SPY trading at $767, before snapping down into Tuesday morning! $SPY started on Tuesday trading at $762, and we watched as $SPY made the official low of the week, trading at $759.48 on Tuesday.

Thankfully, after hitting that relative bottom, the markets did start to recover nicely. We bounced up quickly and recovered everything on Wednesday, when $SPY went on to end the day trading at $765.16, and continued to move up throughout the rest of Thursday.

Thursday was great as we displayed a significant amount of strength, and watched as $SPY went on to make the official high of the week, trading at $774.03. General market conditions were strong, with the bullish momentum necessary for us to break back above the daily conversion line resistance. General market conditions were amazing, and after hitting the official high of the week, we did watch as there was mild bearish momentum on Friday.

We started Friday with $SPY opening slightly red, opening at $772, and watched as there was slow, choppy, bearish momentum throughout the day, and no great opportunities to scalp on an intraday basis, but we were able to find some great opportunities to scalp some $SPY 0-DTE calls on Friday, where we went on to officially end the week with $SPY trading at $770.19, meaning $SPY was down $3 on Friday, but up $3 over the entire week.

What I will say about last week is that, obviously, less than ideal overall movement, but with the placement of the markets and the way that everything trended, I am happy that we all were able to capitalize on the short-term volatility of these market conditions, and hopefully you all were able to realize gains with us. As difficult as these market conditions are, life is good, and hopefully you all were able to realize some gains in the process! So let’s see where the markets decide to take us this week, and have a great time!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 09/04/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 09/08/2026

Today is shaping up to be a tougher open. Hopefully market conditions strengthen early in the morning, but given the current market conditions and the way that everything is trending, traders are going to have an interesting time attempting to navigate the short-term volatility. Life is good, and so are these market conditions, but the short-term volatility and inconsistencies we are experiencing are going to make trading difficult. Please continue to tread lightly and practice safe risk management, but do everything in your power to maximize your profit potential.

Currently, I am in a place where I am not overly bullish nor bearish in the markets. I want to be optimistic and watch as the markets continue to move up, but as bad as this sounds, there have been no great catalysts recently for us to be overly optimistic and bullish. If you are attempting to scalp or trade, understand that the momentum we are being provided at the moment is less than ideal and would be a lot better if there were more consistency provided to us, but understand that the difficulties we are experiencing are going to be the reason why opportunities will be provided to us. Many organizations sold off as a result of the previous couple of weeks, giving us a great buy-the-dip opportunity.

The real question then becomes: where should we attempt to allocate, where is the safest place to allocate, and how can you be the most comfortable?

This is a three-part question that is difficult to answer, but at the same time, with the opportunities provided, it is almost hard not to find something.

So, look to allocate into some of these higher beta organizations that have been sold off over the previous couple of weeks, and find the ones that provide the best “deep value”. Yes, some of these organizations are heavily overvalued, but with the momentum we are experiencing, it is hard to be pessimistic about some of these companies. So, find something that is oversold, is in that “deep value” territory, that you can scale in and out of with confidence.

A great example of this recently has been $WMT or $DKS. These organizations recently sold off as a result of poor earnings, and both companies dropped heavily, providing us a great opportunity to purchase a fundamentally solid organization at a heavy discount. There are obviously risks involved with allocating into both of these organizations, but, from a bottom-up perspective, they were both great value additions to a portfolio. Anyone who purchased either of those organizations since we started talking about it at a discount is up roughly 10%~ each.

I am not saying that everything is a 100% guarentee that the markets are going to move up irrationally, but given the current market conditions and the way that everything is trending, with some of the discounts we are seeing in the markets, keep your eyes open as we will find some great deep value discounts as well as opportunities to allocate with more confidence.

Let’s have some fun and realize some gains today, but as always, be smart, be safe, and protect your bottom line!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
