HaiKhuu Daily Report - 09/09/2026

Good morning and happy Wednesday! Halfway through the week, and these market conditions are looking SPICY. We are watching as $SPY has dropped slightly over the past couple of days, but we are not seeing anything of major concern. $SPY has tested and broken below the daily conversion line support, and is now actively testing the daily baseline support. This is obviously less than ideal, but at the same time extremely predictable. With the confusion we are experiencing here in the short term, please continue to expect larger-scale neutrality and less-than-ideal trading conditions.

I am not attempting to scare anyone or cause anyone to be bearish with my statements, but markets are looking strong overall, yet we are experiencing short-term weakness.

Just continue to attempt to capitalize on the short-term momentum, and remain solvent, as these conditions are great, yet are going to be tough to navigate.

But hey, the best traders have survived this long; there is no reason why you all cannot easily continue to realize gains and make the most of this volatility we are experiencing.

Let’s have an amazing day, and good luck trading in these conditions!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $767.39
Baseline Support: $764.09
Psychological Support: $760
Previous All-Time High: $779.37
Daily Cloud Support: $738.49

Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 09/08/2026

Yesterday was a nasty day for the general markets. There was continued bearish momentum to start the week out, and that was obviously not a great situation. Markets were mildly bearish and provided us with no great opportunities to scalp long, but hey. Such is simply life. Regardless of everyone’s sentiment, hopefully you all were able to mitigate any serious losses and were able to realize some short-term gains!

We started yesterday with $SPY opening at $769.08. Conditions were less than ideal as $SPY opened the day down about $1, and watched as, after the open, general market conditions continued to drop. We went on to sell off super quickly within the first hour or so of the day, continuing to make new lows after new lows, before bottoming out around $766.

Conditions in the morning were gross, but thankfully we recovered back up to that $768 range leading into the lunchtime lull, and that is pretty much where all general market momentum slowed down. $SPY remained relatively neutral from that point all the way into the back half of the afternoon. Leading into power hour, we saw mild bearish momentum, and watched as, leading into close, markets quickly sold off once again, going on to make the official low of the day trading at $765.14, before bouncing into close and officially ending the day at $765.96, down $4 for the day, or down just shy of 0.6% overall.

What I will say about yesterday is that, again, market conditions were less than ideal, and traders really did not have any great opportunities to scalp. You could have attempted to short from the open, or allocate long on the single bounce that we watched, but you would not have realized any significant gains. But hey, hopefully you all were able to have some fun despite the short-term neutrality, and are ready for what the markets have in store for us today!

S&P 500 Heat Map - 09/08/2026

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 09/09/2026

Today is shaping up to be a relatively gross day for the markets. Momentum is slow, traders are confused, and we are seeing mild weakness in the general markets. Obviously, I don’t want the markets to continue to display larger-scale neutrality and consolidation, but that is something that we need to be actively worrying about here in the short term. With the strength we are seeing in the markets, it's hard to be bearish, but with this consolidation we are experiencing, it is hard to want to allocate.

As bad as this sounds, leading into today, I personally am in the mindset that I do not want to scalp, and I fully anticipate sitting on my hands today. This is not usual for me, but given the circumstances of these conditions, I genuinely believe that these conditions are less than ideal, and it is something that can easily continue in the short term.

I am not attempting to be bearish when I say that I do not like these market conditions, but it is more so a generalized statement regarding the momentum we are experiencing. It is not that I believe the markets are going to come down, but more so that I do not believe that there is going to be the confidence necessary to see a large bullish directional move that I can easily capitalize on.

Please, just make sure that you are treading extremely lightly on these conditions and understand the difficulties that the average individual goes through while attempting to navigate less than ideal market conditions.

In the perfect scenario, we see some irrational bullish momentum and strength come out of the markets. This is most likely not going to happen, but that is the point of irrationality, right? So hopefully, we get a reason or catalyst for the markets to move up in the way that they are, and watch as individuals are placed in a scenario where they feel the need to allocate into the markets. We had some confidence appear in the general markets last week, but given that momentum and sentiment have shifted, things are a little different now.

If you want to trade and scalp today, my advice is going to be to make sure you do not fight any momentum, and have generalized confidence in your ability to navigate volatility. In an ideal scenario, we watch as the markets break out irrationally while you are holding some higher-beta tech organizations, but at the same time, we just need to be extremely careful. The last thing I want to happen is to hear that the markets chopped and consolidated, moved a total of 0.05%, and then hear stories of people overtrading, realizing significant losses in the process.

So, it does not sound sexy or fun when I say this, but be careful while attempting to scalp and trade today, and assuming you are attempting to trade despite the warnings I’ve presented, hopefully you get some great opportunities that do present themselves.

Also, side note - just know that this sentiment can genuinely shift at any time given a catalyst that justifies a split, so we can see what the markets decide to do for us, and have a great time in the process. Go on and enjoy today, and let’s see what $SPY wants to do!

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.

These market conditions are going to be difficult to navigate. Please continue to tread lightly on the inconsistencies the markets are providing us at the moment. Things are less than ideal, but given the current circumstances, I think we all will be completely fine.
