HaiKhuu Daily Report - 10/20/2026

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I hope you all are ready for another extremely predictable day for the markets! With the current placement of the markets and the volatility we are experiencing, I am telling you all right now that today's movement is going to be predictable, and I’ll talk about it in depth during the full report.

Just please, continue to follow the general market momentum, capitalize on the conditions when possible, and do everything you can to realize gains. If the markets are lacking momentum, don’t scalp the neutrality, and whatever you do today, make sure you are NOT fighting any trends.

Hopefully we get a large directional breakout that we can all easily capitalize on, but until then, we have to sit back, relax, and make the most of today.

Good luck trading today, and let’s prepare accordingly for volatility!

The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $770.03
Baseline Support: $765.61
Psychological Support: $770
Previous All-Time High: $781.62
Daily Cloud Support: $766.67

Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 10/19/2026

Yesterday was a relatively slower day for the general markets as we remained in an extremely tight consolidation. The large majority of the day remained within a $1 range, and there were no real great opportunities available. Hopefully you were able to catch some momentum, but for the majority, the momentum was slow and relatively uneventful.

We started yesterday with $SPY trading at $767.25. General market conditions were nice as we opened up slightly higher than Friday's close, but watched as the momentum on an intraday basis was slow.

Markets dropped within the first half hour of the day, making the official low trading at $765.83, before rallying slightly leading into the lunchtime session, where $SPY made the official high of the day trading at $770.46.

Conditions at the top were okay, we were only up $2 from the open price, but at least we were up $4 from the bottom, but watched as into the afternoon $SPY dropped back to test $767-768, resulting in the markets doing almost nothing throughout the entirity of the afternoon, as $SPY remained neutral leading into close until $SPY decided to drop within the final 10 minutes, where we officially ended the day with $SPY trading at $766.48, meaning that $SPY was +$3 for the day (Roughly +0.4%), but having an intraday bearish move of 0.08%.

Absolutely disgusting intraday move into close, which invalidated a lot of intraday predictions. But regardless, what I will say about yesterday is that, again, conditions were less than ideal. There was bullish momentum we could have capitalized on, but the overall neutrality made trading difficult. Hopefully you were able to catch some runners yesterday and realize some gains, but regardless of what happened yesterday, today is a new day, and I hope you are ready for some excitement!

Thoughts & Comments for Today - 10/20/2026

Today, as I said before, is in an extremely predictable spot. The hardest part will be accurately predicting which scenario is going to happen. Obviously, this is all speculation and should not be taken as a signal to buy or sell any positions; this is not financial advice, and you should make your own judgment regarding these market conditions.

But, given the way the market is trending, I believe that we are either going to get a continuation of neutrality on a larger scale, or a directional momentum-based move.

Let me elaborate: it sounds like I am saying that the markets can go up or down, but in reality, there is a lot more to what I am saying than just that.

With the way the markets are placed, we are currently trading at both the daily baseline support and daily cloud support. I believe that the markets can easily continue to chop and maintain this price, resulting in short-term losses being generated, despite no large-scale movement happening. This is, in my opinion, one of the worst conditions to attempt to trade, as there is no confirmation of any direction or momentum, and you will ultimately end up realizing losses in both directions consistently over time, FOMOing in after getting stopped out, and getting chopped out right below support. This is not a fun time for anyone involved and has impacted every single trader that I personally know.

In the case that we don’t see continued neutrality at these technical points, the other scenario I am expecting is a larger directional momentum-based move.

With the way the markets are placed, we can easily see a directional move. We are testing multiple levels of support, and multiple larger levels of support. In the case that we get some good news, it would not surprise me to see a beautiful bullish movement form as a result of the technical support we are seeing. But with that said, if we are given any bad news, expect again a momentum-based directional move, filled with perpetual selling.

So obviously, I am not sure which direction the markets are headed. We have chips that are adding pressure to the markets at this moment, but at the same time, with the way that everything is trending, you have to understand the irrationality and trends of these conditions. Make sure to practice safe risk management, and do NOT fight any trending market moves.

It does not matter if you want to be bullish while the markets are falling, or bearish as the markets are ripping. You may be right on the sentiment, but if you are wrong on the timing, that is all that matters. So please, continue to wait for confirmations of reversals forming on larger timeframes, and afterwards you will be set.

I’ll try to find some strong plays for you guys today, no promises, but under the assumption that my prediction of a directional move happens, things will be fun, in the case we get the neutrality… we will see what happens.

If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
