HaiKhuu Daily Report - 10/22/2026
Good morning and happy Thursday!! Man, markets are tumbling today, with organizations like $META and $TSLA being extremely volatile. $META has announced that they are interested in doing a stock split, while people are picking up conversations about a $TSLA and $SPCX merger. Obviously, this would be a massive conflict of interest that I may touch upon later, but with the way that everything is trending, things are interesting.
This can be a nasty day for the general markets, and I just need to warn you all now that $SPY at $760 is a very real possibility and can continue to remain difficult. Please, tread lightly and prepare accordingly for some inconsistencies and volatility of today.
Markets are going to move irrationally, so hopefully we get some great buy-the-dip opportunities we can capitalize on in the short term.
Make the most of today, and prepare accordingly for some difficulties.
Good luck trading today, and let’s see where the markets take us!
The updated $SPY daily levels are as follows:
Conversion Line Support: $770.03
Baseline Support: $765.61
Psychological Support: $770
Previous All-Time High: $781.67
Daily Cloud Support: $766.42
Thoughts & Comments from Yesterday - 10/21/2026
Yesterday was an insane day for the general markets, as we saw inconsistent volatility that we all could have easily realized. Traders were presented with a larger directional move, larger-scale neutrality, and volatility that provided both bulls and bears a great opportunity to scalp. I hope you all were able to survive the volatility of yesterday and realized some gains in the process!
We started yesterday with $SPY trading at $771.14. General market conditions were okay, as $SPY remained neutral for the first half hour or so of the day, and we watched as $SPY, as a result of everything, sold off and went on to make the official low of the day, trading at $768.41. General market conditions were less than ideal as markets went red again for the day, but realistically it just gave us a great opportunity to buy a quick dip.
The markets rallied through the lunchtime lull, through the lunchtime session, and into the early afternoon, where $SPY went on to make the official high of the day, trading at $774.44 before starting to come back down slightly, resulting in the markets making a relative low below $772, before bouncing back up to $773 by close.
We went on and officially ended the day with $SPY trading at $773.09, meaning that $SPY was up $4 for the day, or up roughly 0.5% overall.
General market conditions were strong, traders loved the opportunities, and everyone could have realized some gains riding the general momentum and volatility of yesterday. I hope that you all were able to make the most of the short-term momentum and were able to realize some gains. Life and markets are great, so let’s see where the markets decide to take us today, and have an amazing time!
S&P 500 Heat Map - 10/21/2026
Thoughts & Comments for Today - 10/22/2026
Today has been shaping up to be an interesting time. Markets are down heavily during the pre-market session, and no one knows confidently where the markets are going to take us. We are seeing weakness and selling leading into today, and realistically, I believe there is an extremely high likelihood that the selling will only continue as a result.
I need to warn you right now, with the way that everything is trending, there is a non-zero chance that $SPY goes on and tests $760 today. I obviously do not want the markets to come down, but with the way that everything is trending during the pre-market session, we have to remain realistic with short-term expectations, as well as understand where the markets will want to go when the markets do decide to move.
This is obviously speculation, as this has been written hours before the markets open and sentiment can easily shift between then and now, but again, with the way that everything is trending, it will be difficult to be blindly optimistic leading into today.
There is the very real chance that here in the short term, we do see a buy the dip opportunity and watch as organizations rally from this point. Again, I am not trying to get you to be overly optimistic or put bullish thoughts in your head, but know that it is a very real possibility. If anything, I know that I personally will be looking for opportunities to capitalize on short-term market inconsistencies today.
Under the assumption that we continue to sell on an intraday basis, the one play I am extremely interested in is going to be allocating into $SPY long at a relative bottom. Obviously, organizations can trend independently for however long, but I am assuming that at one point in the day, we will see $SPY become oversold and provide us an opportunity to purchase deep value. I will be looking out for opportunities to purchase call contracts today, only once there is a confirmation of a reversal or support. When I enter, I will let you all know in real time.
So, now let’s talk about this Tesla & SpaceX merger.
While on premise, I completely understand the reason why people are expecting this, want this to happen, etc but given the way that everything is trading right now, I think one of the worst things that could occur is that. In the case that he wanted to merge companies, he should have and would have done it before SpaceX went public.
I think that the merger, unless it is to build some mega corp, will remain relatively impossible to accomplish, and would ultimately kill all shareholders involved. The easiest way to kill a $2T successful car company that also is building robots, and is revolutionizing the electric car market, is to strap on an additional $2T liability.
Again, I still believe that, on principle, SpaceX is still a great organization and has a lot of potential, but at the same time, with the weakness we are experiencing, it may be tough to remain rational with your expectations. Again, I am not the CEO of Tesla, nor do I know how the innerworkings of either of these organizations are, but again, it is hard to attempt to justify a movement like this, so be rational with any assumptions you make, and be realistic knowing the possibilities presented to us.
But hey, regardless of everything, let’s have some fun today, and hopefully we catch a beautiful buy-the-dip opportunity!
If I see any opportunities, or if I decide to get into any other plays, I’ll announce what I see in the HaiKhuu Discord.
